How Should I Store My Jewelry?
To preserve the beauty of your jewelry, store each piece in the soft pouch or designated box provided with your purchase. Proper storage minimizes exposure to air, moisture, and environmental elements that may affect its longevity.
How Should I Take Care of My Jewelry?
We offer three types of jewelry, each requiring specific care:
1. Sterling Silver with Rhodium Plating:
• These pieces are water-resistant, meaning they can be worn in the shower. However, prolonged exposure to hair products, perfumes, and lotions may dull the brilliance of zirconia stones and require more frequent cleaning.
2. Gold Vermeil:
• Avoid wearing in pools, saunas, hot tubs, or the ocean. Chlorine, saltwater, and chemicals may gradually wear down the gold plating. While occasional water exposure (such as handwashing) is fine, minimizing contact with water will significantly extend the life of your piece.
• We are not responsible for wear resulting from exposure to these elements.
3. Solid 18K Gold:
• Durable and long-lasting, solid gold jewelry can be worn daily, including in the shower. However, jewelry containing natural gemstones requires extra care, as stones may be sensitive to chemicals, impact, or heat. Regular professional polishing is recommended to maintain its brilliance over time.
Why Is My Jewelry Changing Color?
Discoloration may naturally occur due to exposure to skin oils, beauty products, or environmental elements. Sterling silver and gold vermeil, in particular, may develop slight tarnishing over time. This is a normal reaction and not a defect.
Following our care recommendations will help prevent premature oxidation. Please note that tarnishing or discoloration caused by improper care, environmental exposure, or chemical contact is not covered under our warranty.
How Should I Clean My Jewelry?
To maintain its brilliance, gently clean your jewelry with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive soap. Rinse thoroughly under running water and dry immediately using a cold air setting on a hairdryer or a soft, lint-free cloth.
